Terms & Conditions – Lucents

Lucents (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a cloud bakery operating on a made-to-order basis. These Terms & Conditions govern all orders placed with Lucents through WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls, or any other communication platform. By placing an order with Lucents, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of Business
Lucents prepares fresh, made-to-order, preservative-free bakery products. Due to the nature of food products, all sales are treated as final, subject to the limited exceptions stated herein.
2. Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed only after full advance payment is received and order details are acknowledged by Lucents. Lucents reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to confirmation without assigning reasons.
3. Pricing
Prices are subject to product type, customisation level, ingredient availability, and market price fluctuations. Prices confirmed apply only to the specific order placed. Lucents reserves the right to revise prices for future orders.
4. Advance Payment Policy
All orders require 100% advance payment. No order shall be prepared or dispatched without receipt of full payment.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are not permitted once an order is confirmed. No refund shall be provided for change of mind, delay in pickup, or personal inconvenience.
6. Refund & Replacement Policy
Refunds or replacements shall not be provided for taste preferences, texture or appearance variations, delivery delays, customer unavailability, or improper storage after delivery. Any consideration of refund or replacement shall be solely at the discretion of Lucents and must be reported within 2 hours of delivery with photographic proof.
7. Customisation Disclaimer
Limited customisation is offered. Handmade products may vary slightly in colour, design, or finish. Exact replicas of reference images are not guaranteed.
8. Product Consumption & Storage
Customers are responsible for proper storage and timely consumption. Lucents shall not be liable for quality deterioration due to delayed consumption, refrigeration, reheating, or improper handling.
9. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery and pickup are governed by Lucents’ Shipping & Delivery Policy. Responsibility ends upon handover of the product in proper condition.
10. Third-Party Services
Lucents shall not be responsible for delays, errors, or failures arising from third-party delivery or payment platforms.
11. Allergy & Ingredient Disclosure
Lucents is a 100% eggless bakery. Products may contain milk, butter, nuts, or chocolate compounds. Cross-contamination cannot be completely ruled out.
12. Limitation of Liability
Lucents’ liability, if any, shall be limited strictly to the value of the order placed. Lucents shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Customer Conduct
Lucents reserves the right to refuse service to customers engaging in abusive language, threats, harassment, or unreasonable demands.
14. Intellectual Property
All brand names, logos, images, and content associated with Lucents are its intellectual property. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
15. Force Majeure
Lucents shall not be liable for failure or delay due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural calamities, government actions, power failures, or transport disruptions.
16. Policy Amendments
Lucents reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms shall apply to all future orders.
17. Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh only.
