Shipping & Delivery Policy – Lucents

Lucents (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a cloud bakery operating on a made-to-order basis. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the terms governing order pickup, delivery timelines, responsibilities, and limitations of liability. By placing an order with Lucents, the customer agrees to this policy.
1. Service Area
Lucents delivers orders within select locations in and around Kanpur, subject to availability and operational feasibility. Delivery to certain areas may be restricted based on distance, weather conditions, product type, or logistical constraints. Lucents reserves the right to decline delivery to
any location.
2. Order Preparation & Dispatch
All products are freshly prepared after order confirmation. Dispatch timelines are estimated and communicated in good faith. Preparation and dispatch times may vary due to order volume, customisation requirements, ingredient availability, or unforeseen operational constraints.
3. Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines shared with customers are approximate and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to traffic conditions, weather, third-party delivery partner issues, or peak demand periods. Lucents shall not be liable for delays arising from factors beyond its reasonable control.
4. Third-Party Delivery Services
Delivery may be arranged through third-party delivery partners. Lucents’ responsibility ends once the order is handed over in proper condition. Lucents is not responsible for delay, mishandling, spillage, temperature impact, or damage occurring during transit after handover.
5. Customer Availability & Incorrect Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and remaining available at the delivery location. Failed delivery due to incorrect information, non-responsiveness, or unavailability shall not entitle the customer to any refund, replacement, or rescheduling.
6. Pickup Policy
For self-pickup orders, customers must collect the order at the agreed time. Delays beyond 30 minutes may affect product quality. Lucents shall not be responsible for deterioration in quality due to delayed pickup.
7. Product Handling & Quality Disclaimer
Lucents products are fresh and preservative-free. Quality may be affected by transit time, temperature exposure, and handling after dispatch. Lucents is not responsible for changes in texture, appearance, or taste occurring post-dispatch or handover.
8. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges, if applicable, are communicated at the time of order confirmation and are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.
9. Failed or Returned Deliveries
In the event of failed or returned delivery due to customer-related reasons, the order shall be treated as completed. Lucents is under no obligation to reattempt delivery or issue any refund or credit.
10. Force Majeure
Lucents shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivery caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural calamities, government restrictions, power failures, or transport disruptions.
11. Policy Updates
Lucents reserves the right to amend or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Updated terms shall apply to all future orders.
